Vision :

1. To ensure employment at the doorstep and reduce poverty.

Mission :

1. Creating self-reliance amongst the poor.
2. Promote khadi and village industries in urban and rural areas.
3. Generating skilled workers, artisans, entrepreneurs through training under Multi Disciplinary Training Centre (MKVIB)
4. Generating employment in rural and urban areas by setting up new self-employment ventures, projects and micro-enterprises.
5. To ensure growth and development of MSME’s.
6. To increase the wage-earning capacity of artisans and contribute to increase in the growth rate of rural and urban employment and economy.
7. To promote traditional items.
