Saitual, the 29th April, 2025 : Pursuant to the Apex Body meeting of Mizoram Policy Coordination Committee held on 21.02.2025, 36 persons were selected as Progress Partners under the pilot phase of The Mizoram Bana Kaih Handholding Scheme within Saitual District.

The main component of Bana Kaih Scheme aims to facilitate Loan Assistance to the selected progress partners through partner banks within the state, To achieve this, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Government of Mizoram and the three partner banks; State Bank of India (SBI), Mizoram Rural Bank (MRB) and Mizoram Cooperative Apex Bank (MCAB). All branches of these partner banks are therefore expected to diligently attend the progress partners and extend their support in availing financing facilities and loans to the progress partners enclosed under various approved schemes.
